Senior Scramble

We had 46 players for the Senior Scramble this week. There was $160 in the skins pot, and there was one skin!

Winners: Front 9 - Bailey/Leicht (30), Back 9 - Johnston/LaZebnik (31), Total - Johnston/LaZebnik (62), Flight 2 - Pelton/Foster (69)

Closest To's: 2 - Fugere, 5 - Pelham, 12 - McEldowney, 17 - Dwyer

Thank you to everyone that played, and we look forward to seeing you all again next Wednesday for our annual Senior Scramble Championship/Appreciation Day! All of the winners from this season's Senior Scramble events compete for the title of "Senior Scramble Champions." You do not need to be a previous winner to play in the scramble, however. Everybody playing in the Senior Scramble that week will tee off in a 10:00 AM shotgun start, with a lunch after the round.

Fall Finale Craft Beer Open


  • Friday, September 28th, we will be hosting the Fall Finale Craft Beer Open. This event is a 1:00 PM shotgun start. It will be open to the first 36 4-person teams to sign up.
  • Men will play the blue tees, seniors 60+ will play the white tees, and ladies will play the red tees.
  • 18-hole scramble that costs $50 per player and includes five tickets to sample beer at the various sampling stations. There will also be snacks provided at each sampling station.
  • There will be a skins pot of $50 per team. The winning team will be awarded $400 in gift certificates from The Grande Golf Club. If no skins are won, the skins pot will be divided amongst the top 3 teams (50-30-20). All ties will be decided by a scorecard playoff. A full field would result in a skins pot of $1,800!
  • The first 36 teams to pay the entry fee of $200 will be entered.
  • The team skins of $50 per team will be paid the day of the event.
Cost: $50 per player ($250 per team covers all four golfers and skins)

Par 3 Shootout

The Grande will transform into an 18-hole Par 3 course for our annual Par 3 Shootout! The course will be set up challenging, with some interesting pin positions. It will be a 2-person scramble for just $40 per person (includes golf, lunch, skins, and prizes). Tee times before 10 AM will be open to our weekly Senior Scramble, with all tee times after 11 AM being open to anyone, so call and book your tee time for this fun event today!

Big Cups for a Cause

Join us for our 5th Annual Big Cups for a Cause event to help us raise money for the Jackson Community Food Pantry. It will be an 11:00 AM shotgun start on Sunday, October 21st. The format is a 4-person scramble, with the cost being just $200 per team (includes golf & prize money). A portion of each entry will be donated to the Jackson Community Food Pantry. You will also get a free lunch if you bring a non-perishable food item for donation to the food pantry.

Men will play the blue tees, Seniors (60+) will play the white tees, and Women & Juniors (12 and under) will play the red tees.

As an added twist, this fun event will be play on the 8" big cups...that's twice the size of a regular cup! There will be tons of prizes to be won, including best Halloween costume, so get a team together and sign up today for this fun event!

Black Friday Scramble

Black Friday Scramble

While your spouse is out shopping, why not play a little golf?

What: 4-person scramble with men playing the blue tees, seniors (60+) playing the white tees, and ladies & kids (12 and under) playing the red tees.

When: Friday, November 23rd with an 11:00 AM shotgun start.

Cost: $40 per player (includes golf, lunch, & prize money). Members pay just $20.

This event is designed to be played at a good pace of play, and to be fun for all that participate. It will be open to the first 36 teams to sign up, so don't wait! Unless there is snow on the ground, the Black Friday Scramble WILL be played.
